Starter Kit

The Starter Kit is a set of open access tools and DeltaTwin® components available for the user community to build more complex DeltaTwin® components. They also serve as demonstrators to illustrate how to build a DeltaTwin® and to interact with other ones.

To build DeltaTwin® several categories of tools have been identified:

  • Harmonized Data and catalog access : they enable to query the data and store it using standard exchange formats.
  • Image manipulation : to manipulate and analyze images especially images coming from optical sensors.
  • Radar toolbox, which contains a collection of tools to manage product acquired with SAR instruments (interferometry)
  • Geometry tools for projection conversion, data composition and mosaicking, orthorectification
  • Vectorial data manipulation and spatial indexing tools
  • Set of AI models for different tasks like classification, regression, automatic detection…

The Starter Kit also contains some DeltaTwin® demonstrators to illustrate how to build and to use an existing end-to-end DeltaTwin®.

Tutorial describes the recommended steps to reproduce some of these DeltaTwin® components “from scratch”.

The Starter Kit content will be progressively enriched. As a first step, it will include the necessary tools to manage the identified demonstrators and enable the user to design similar DeltaTwin® using data access tools, image manipulation tools and geometry tools.

The results of these executions can be either exploited by their scientific creators to be displayed to users or directly by users according to a future business model.

Step by step, the toolboxes content will be completed. The user community or partners can participate to the implementation of the toolboxes.

Starter Kit also comes with experimental components to stick known urban twin interoperability solutions and be able to be compatible with Smart Data Model.
